Panagiotis Triantafyllou
Founder & Tango Teacher

Panagiotis was a student of electrical and computer engineering when he met tango. He immediately found a huge interest for it. Tango has always been a universal language that trains the body through physical movement but also heals the soul through human touch. After just 1,5 years of studying tango he participated in a national competition in Greece winning the first place. That was the point where he also began teaching his own style which is a combination of styles from his maestros with a more mechanical and “engineered” approach. Since then he has participated in many festivals in and out of Greece giving workshops and dance performances. He also took part in music video clips dancing tango. He has a tango school in his hometown in Greece is also the co-organizer of the biggest milonga in northern Greece. Panagiotis is one of the 6 co-founders of the group “Tango Nomads”, which is a group that operates in Greece and has as an objective to bring tango to smaller cities in Greece. Tango Nomads organized a festival at the beginning of 2019 with huge success. In June 2019, together with Rita, they organized a tango marathon in Stockholm, that brought together more than 150 dancers from all over the world.
